Some feedback and suggestions from participants:
1. make the session longer or split it into a few sessions (drums 1 session and percussion instruments 1 session) so that we can learn more about the intricacies of all the instruments.
2. it was good that the trainer highlighted a few salient features of drums but we should be give more time to practise them before we switched instruments.
3. assign people places to sit instead of letting them choose their own seats so as to promote class interaction.

There are many different methods and ways of playing the middle eastern drums
Rhythm is VERY important! : ).
Perhaps more interaction within a class instead of sharing with another.
Hey 7A. if you have anything to say about the GEMS drum module, please adit this blog entry and write your name yeah! : ).
"Please indicate the type of drumming on the GEMS. we all had a shock when we heard we were playing tribal drums instead of rock drums! : ) but it was a pleasant surprise nonetheless." -Evelyn.
